I lived in the times of a legend called......

.......Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar!!!

I was in the middle of fiddling with some Java code chunks and "ding" - a message popped out from my friend Bhavan, checking on me whether I am keeping a track of the scoreboard of the 2nd ODI between India and South Africa at Gwalior. Frankly, after the match fixing scandal that rocked the professional lives of many cricketers I lost interest in the game completely. I reluctantly typed a regularly visited website to know the score and to my astonishment, my blood pressure shot to an extreme and I was filled out with excitement after looking at Tendulkar's (my all time favorite sports person) score.

After the speed at which his runs rolled on the screen (in the stadium), I was unable to concentrate on the work and started tracking ball by ball update. And with my loud announcement in office, I had made my colleagues also to track the score with much excitement. As usual, everybody started praying their own Gods in all possible languages and ways to make sure that Tendulkar hits double ton. But the first unanimous request to the God was to see Sachin breaking the existing record set by a Pakistani (seriously, no one was concerned with the fact that the record was equated by a Zimbabwean cricketer).

God as usual, blessed the requests of whole of India in the same priority He received them in. At the end, Sachin went home with two world records on his name.

Actually, I started writing this post to show my love, appreciation and respect towards Sachin.I am unable to do so because of the fact that everybody knew about Sachin very well that I would end up covering only few details.

I am sure many of you have read this saying about Sachin - If Cricket is a Religion, Sachin is God!!

I am now coming up with a new statement about Sachin - Cricket is a Religion and SACHIN is the ONLY God. Period.

I love you Sachin and may God bless you and India with much more brighter future.
